In the opening address for International Tea Day, Thivanka Athuraliya, Chargé d’Affaires, highlighted the importance of tea in the world. At this event, guests had the opportunity, under the expert guidance of Olivier Michils, Client Engagement Manager for Benelux and Germany at Dilmah Ceylon Tea Company, to sample the carefully selected varieties of premium Ceylon tea in their diversity and different aromas. It is no coincidence that these distinctive teas have become a worldwide success. A selection of tea mocktails and authentic Sri Lankan canapés rounded off this special event.
