More than fifty ambassadors accepted the invitation to convey their congratulations to the Nuncio on his special anniversary. Since his accreditation in 2013, he has steered the affairs of the Apostolic Nunciature in Berlin with notable success. It was only fitting that the Croatian Ambassador should host the birthday celebration of the Nuncio, who was born in Croatia.

In his address, the Ambassador paid tribute not only to the Nuncio’s achievements in the diplomatic sphere, but also to his extensive activities and publications in numerous articles and books. The Archbishop was deeply moved by the laudatory speech and expressed his gratitude in warm terms.

The subsequent musical performance by a Croatian pianist and singer was met with great enthusiasm, with many guests joining in the singing. Thereafter, attendees had the opportunity to appreciate the excellent quality of Croatian specialities and wines.
