In 2004, he began his diplomatic career as a Diplomatic Attaché. 2005-2006, he led the Code Section at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 2006-2009, he was in charge of Yemen’s bilateral relations with Spain. 2009-2013, he served at the Yemeni Embassy in Canada, where he was responsible for managing polit- ical and economic affairs. 2014-2015, he was elected to serve as the head of the Yemeni Diplomatic Union. 2016-2017, he directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ political engagement with Arab and African countries. In 2017, he was appointed as Counsellor to the Yemeni Embassy in Germany, and in 2019, he was promoted to the position of Deputy Head of Mission. He held this role until 2022, when he was appointed Chargé d’Affaires. In February 2025, he pre- sented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Yemen to the President of the Federal Republic of Germany
